The
2026 Brown Bear gold coin is an issue of the Spanish Wildlife Series of
investment coins, minted by the Royal Mint of Spain, Real Casa de la
Moneda (FNMT-RCM). The coin contains 1/10 Troy ounce, or 3.11 g, of
999.9 fine gold.
The
reverse of the coin depicts the brown bear, one of the most famous and
impressive wild animals of the Iberian Peninsula. The brown bear is the
largest land mammal in the Spanish wild, found mainly in the Cantabrian
Mountains and the Pyrenees. This animal symbolizes strength, endurance
and the protection of wildlife.
The
obverse reproduces the historical motif of the Spanish eight-real coin
of the Columnario type. This design is associated with one of the most
famous historical Spanish coins and highlights the country's coinage
traditions and its importance in the history of world money.
The coin features an exceptional Reverse Proof mintage quality, characterized by a contrast between matte and shiny surfaces.
We recommend purchasing the capsule/s according to the amount of coins you ordered. You can find the capsules below, in the related products section. Otherwise, the coin is packed in a plastic zip-lock bag.
