The reverse of the coin depicts the brown bear, one of the most famous and impressive wild animals of the Iberian Peninsula. The brown bear is the largest land mammal in the Spanish wild, found mainly in the Cantabrian Mountains and the Pyrenees. This animal symbolizes strength, endurance and the protection of wildlife.
