Now that our epic Austria Piece by Piece series has drawn to a close we are issuing all ten copper coins individually wrapped inside a special face-value gift pack.

Nine of the coins feature a depiction, expertly crafted by our world-renowned coin designers, of a UNESCO World Heritage site or a manifestation of “intangible” cultural heritage in each of the provinces of Austria. On the other side, the coins each feature a different winning entry from a competition in which schoolchildren drew images of their home province. From Vorarlberg in the west to Burgenland in the east, these designs are a testament to the creativity of Austria’s young citizens. The series is crowned with a final coin depicting Austria in its entirety, one side of which features a design by an entire class from the same primary school.
