The reverse of the coin depicts the Rose of Rhodes with stylized waves that move from the center towards the edges. Around it is carved a text in Greek - 1948-2018 Η ΕΝΩΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΔΩΔΕΚΑΝΗΣΩΝ ΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ and ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ. Between the texts - the mint mark.
Obverse - 2 euro denomination.
