The coin is struck by the renowned The Royal Mint in Wales and contains 3.11 g of 999 fine silver.

The reverse features the legendary personification of Britain – Britannia. The design, created by Philip Nathan, has included advanced security features since 2021, such as a laser-engraved wave pattern, a latent image, micro-text, and tincture lines, making the coin easy to authenticate while significantly reducing the risk of counterfeiting.

The obverse depicts the uncrowned portrait of King Charles III, designed by sculptor Martin Jennings.
