The American Gold Eagle is the official gold bullion coin of the United States and one of the most popular gold investment coins in the world. Produced by the United States Mint since 1986, it is renowned for its global recognition, liquidity, and iconic design. Although the coin has a fineness of .9167 (22-karat gold), it contains a full 1 troy ounce (31.104 g) of pure gold. Additional silver and copper alloys increase the total weight to 33.931 g and improve durability.
Obverse: the obverse features Lady Liberty holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The U.S. Capitol building appears in the background, while the year "2026" is displayed below.
Reverse: the reverse depicts a detailed portrait of a bald eagle, one of the most recognized symbols of the United States. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "IN GOD WE TRUST", and "50 DOLLARS 1 OZ FINE GOLD".
About the coin: first introduced in 1986, the American Gold Eagle remains one of the world's leading gold bullion coins. Its weight, gold content, and authenticity are guaranteed by the United States government. While the coin is struck in 22-karat gold (.9167), each coin contains a full troy ounce of pure gold. The added alloy metals provide greater resistance to wear and handling compared to .9999 fine gold coins.
Packaging: we recommend purchasing coin capsules according to the quantity ordered. Otherwise, coins are supplied in a plastic zip-lock bag.
Important note: coins may display minor scratches, milk spots, toning, or other surface imperfections. These do not affect authenticity, gold content, or investment value.
