1 oz (31.10 g) silver coin Sisserou, Dominica 2021

The obverse of the coin shows the famous effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This portrait was designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley and created for the Royal Mint of England.

On the reverse of the coin the image of two Imperial Amazon parrots is shown. The Imperial Amazon, also known as the Sisserou, is a highly endangered species of the Eastern Caribbean. The Sisserou is the national bird of the island of Dominica and is featured on the countrys flag. The reverse of the 2021 coin shows two of these parrots sitting together on a branch, with the coins release year and the countrys inscription printed above.
