The Prado Museum was opened to the public in 1819. November 19 as the Royal Museum of Painting and Sculpture. in 2019 commemorating the 200th anniversary of this impressive and famous museum.
The obverse shows the Hunt of Meleager by Giovanni di Benedetto, which is housed in the Museo Nacional Prado, Madrid. On the left is the legend SPAIN; on the right - the year of minting 2019. On the upper right side - the legend G. BENEDETTO.
Reverse - a statue of Velasquez, the dates 1819-2019 appear under the sculpture; on the right is the mint mark. Above, the currency value is 100 EURO. At the bottom of the coin is the legend SPAIN. The top of the coin features the legend BICENTENARIO DEL PRADO.
