20 euro coin 25th anniversary of the consolidation of Independence, Lithuania 2016

Reverse: The national flags of the coin are arranged in the chronological order of the recognition of the State of Lithuania after declaration of its Independence in 1990. Special attention is given to Iceland, which was the first country to recognise Lithuania’s Independence. The logo of the United Nations (UN) on the reverse also. Lithuania joined the UN on 17 September 1991.

The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis, the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA Lithuania, year of issue 2016, denomination 20 €
